Project Name: LIFE Ministry
Project # 172
I attended Southeastern University and received my Ministerial Leadership degree. I obtained my pastoral credential in 2020. I started a youth group in our home in 2024. I believe that God has called me to be a voice in the wilderness to middle school and high school students in our local area. The Lord has shown me that in order to do what He has called me to do, I need to truly become mission focused on the geographical area (Waterford, Hickman and Hughson) to which He has called me to.
If I were to share my ministry resume with you, you would readily see that beyond my few years in women’s ministry, all of my other ministry work and secular work has been with middle school and high school students. Due to the relationships I have formed with the various school administrators, families and students, I have been allowed to lead Bible club groups on two campuses, and help support an existing Bible club on a third campus. Additionally, the Lord has opened an additional campus for me to be on in fall of this year. I meet weekly with students on campus to study the Bible and discipleship, and off campus for mentoring. I also offer lay counseling to students in need.
My ministry is called- LIFE Ministry. LIFE is an acronym that stands for Life Abundantly, Inspire, Freedom, Equip- all things that I will teach this next generation to do in our time together.
LIFE
L- He came to give us LIFE that “they may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).
I- Jesus came to INSPIRE us to live a life of joy, peace, power and strength (Romans 15:13, Joshua 1:9, Ephesians 3:16-19)
F- Jesus offers FREEDOM. He came to “proclaim liberty to the captives” and “liberty to those who are oppressed” (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1).
E - Jesus came to EQUIP. Following Jesus means we will be equipped to do ministry for the sake of the Kingdom and to build up the church (Ephesians 4:12). He also equips us to live a life of righteousness and holiness through the power of Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:3)
