"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.." Ephesians 2:8
Bill Pietsch, over the many years, was a tremendous example of a man who loved the Lord. We grieve that we can no longer hug and hold and talk to Bill here on earth, but we do not grieve for Bill because his work on earth was complete and he is enjoying an eternity to praise His Savior!
Bill Pietsch went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2007.
Testimonies about Bill
He was a man of faith, who, even as a young person, committed to be a missionary in Afghanistan. In 1950, he went half way around the world by faith and, though history necessitated that his main work be in Pakistan, Bill was part of the launching of the International Assistance Missinon in Afghanistan.

Dad was a man of prayer. When I was small I would find Dad in his office on his knees praing for fellow missionaries and nationals, and praying for his children and for their future spouses. He was a man of dignity, gracious, kind and had a generous spirit.
