Ruth McDade passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2007. She was reunited with her Lord and her husband, the Reverend David R. McDade. It is with sadness and joy that we bid farewell to a mother, friend, and faithful servant.

As young graduates of Nyack Bible College, in Nyack, New York, and members of Hawthorne Gospel Church, in Hawthorne, New Jersey, Mom and Dad were led to share the love of Christ as missionaries to migrant workers. After joining Missionary Gospel Fellowship, based in Turlock, CA, their first assignment was Sunset Labor Camp. Following the closure of this opportunity at the camp, the Lord provided a new location for continued work, Faith Bible Church of Lamont, CA. In addition to those ministry duties were weekly Bible classes at Rosewood Retirement Home as well as volunteer work with Kern Adult Literacy, holding class twice each week in the church building.
