Jay and LuAnn joined MGF in 2003. They are the "first fruits" of MGF's recruitment among "Finishers," people in their middle years who dedicate the rest of their career to serving the Lord as full-time missionaries.

For the past twenty years the Hyatts have worked side-by-side with their pastor, Dr. Bob Fromm, at the North Valley Chapel in Yuba City, CA, while pursuing careers in the secular field. Now God called them to step out on faith and devote their energies totally to ministry.

With an MBA specializing in leadership and organizational development, Jay is an asset to the administration team at MGF headquarters. As General Director, he and LuAnn are responsible for directing the daily activities of MGF, serving as hosts of Christoffersen Haus, and giving overall leadership and direction to the mission. They have five children.
