From the mountains and plains of Colombia, South America to Southern Baja California, Mexico, I (Adria Anthony) served with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) 1975-1984. Due to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), I had to leave TEAM. Thankfully, in 1985, through the efforts of Bruce and Nina Wakelin, I joined MGF and served in Tijuana, Mexico.
From disappointments to Divine appointments, God has led Al & me through the years. In October of 2003, Al joined me in marriage and together we ministered in the Tijuana, Mexico area. We faithfully drove back and forth across the border meeting as many needs as we were able. We have also visited senior citizens and patients in two U.S. convalescent homes. We have continued to help in Bible studies at our church, and have remained involved with the Christmas Box ministry. Our ministry load has lessened due to our failing health. Since the home-going of my mother in 2008, Al’s health has been declining, requiring some hospitalization and plans for additional care. I am considered disabled (not able to maintain the ministry schedule I once had), and am currently pursuing disability benefits through Social Security. Please pray for us. |
