The Farleys joined MGF in 1997. They serve as a lighthouse in the strongly Mormon-dominated towns of Southeast Idaho. Plans are in the works to begin a new ministry aiding local area churches with a school of ministry. The goal will be to provide training for area church leaders to help strengthen the local churches.

Bill ministers to several of the area churches as an advisor, mentor, counselor, teacher, and interim pastor. Because of the heavy Mormon influence, the evangelical churches are very small and their pastors have little opportunity for spiritual encouragement.

Virginia ministers as a teacher's aide in a local alternative school working with troubled children. The next stop for many of these children is the juvenile corrections department. By working in this setting she is helping prevent them from becoming wards of the state.
