Through the past year God has shown His power through us to His people from California, to Seoul, Korea and Cambodia in mighty ways. As the Psalms says, “How awesome are your deeds, So great is Your power.”
God has been so good building His people for His works and touching many lives through us. We minister with three Cambodian churches in the Modesto/Stockton area. Through outreach and discipleship we are able to encourage and minister to them.
This year God sent me to speak to churches in Korea and brought a team from Korea to Cambodia. They help regularly support a big orphanage in Kompong Spue Province where we have 105 children. It requires $4000 a month to meet the basic needs for this orphanage alone. They are growing so much in the knowledge of God. These children are the next generation for God’s kingdom. Praise the Lord!
We also have a great need for the 45 orphans in Posat Province and Kompong Thom Province. As you can see, they need housing and daily provisions.
God is doing tremendous work in church planting. We have been ministering for 10 years to Cambodians through church planting and leadership training in California and at least 13 Provinces from North to South of Cambodia.
The multiplication process is beginning as leaders are now planting churches on their own across the country. They are walking by faith trusting in God for His provision. Churches are becoming stronger although many still need encouragement from us. We see the Cham (Muslim) come to Christ and doing outreach to their own Cham in Kompong Chhnang Province. Please pray for many more Cham to come to Christ as there is much persecution on the Cambodian Cham believers.
Recently there was a new law issued for each church, large or small, to register for a new permit. The cost for each permit is great, an average of $400 to $700 depending on the location. So please pray for the Cambodian churches who cannot afford these permits that the churches will not be forced to close down.
